Thanks for the link. Scary story.

This makes me feel even more confident that it's a good idea to be suspicious when stranges start talking to you. I think I might buy a small cottage in the countryside in the next two years. There I would live in complete isolation from the rest of the world, with James Joyce's Ulysses as my only company.

At least that would help me finish the darn book.

Give up now; you'll never finish it ;p

Not only that, but Willy Pickton lived in the country.

Thanks for posting it. For awhile I was afraid the lawyers would make me take it down, but apparently Willy's lawyers aren't that concerned with potential defamation of a convicted 6x murderer.

Hmm, good point. Maybe a small flat in the city. I'll be the neighbour no one ever sees,* like Sean Connery in Finding Forrester. The in my 70s I will change the life of one person.

*I think I actually might already be that person. I still haven't seen the two neighbours who live right next to me, and I moved to my new flat on Janyary 1st. Looking at the situation from their point of view, I _am_ the neighbour they never see. Hmm.

Wow, how creepy. A friend was at a nursing convention in Milwaukee a number of years ago. A really odd guy kept hitting on her male friend when they were out getting drinks. The guy even was waiting outside their hotel the next morning.

A few months later, they were completely freaked out when the Jeffrey Dahmer story broke, and realized it was the same guy.

Sure makes you never want to talk to strangers.

That is scary. Maybe i'm better off not making any new friends...
